A friend of mine who is JUST getting started in mapping has presented me with an interesting problem for which I can find no answer.

When he clicks on TEXTURES, he get's no list of textures to select from.

I had him go back through the setup tutorial at http://www.modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-231.html which he say's he has done but he just sent me a screenshot which, sure enough, shows nothing listed under textures.

I thought it might be a path problem but don't see anything in preferences to change paths.

Not sure what to tell him. Any help is most appreciated.

To me, it looks like a path problem. He can change the paths in the file menu (File->Game Settings->Edit).
