There are iwi to dds converters available online. After that, you need a picture editing program which supports the .dds format, such as the free Gimp, Photoshop or something similar.

It depends on what you are using the image for.

I am using it for the co-op picture. I have added some lettering to it. But I do not know what to save it to. I know .DDS but I do not know what type of .DDS

As a rule of thumb - if you have no alpha channels, save as DXT1; if you have them, save as DXT5, and generate full mipmaps.

Ayyyy Tally thanks but how would I know if I need alpha channels? Nice to see you again. I have not seen you around the other boards. Are you slowing down in your old age. [lol]

You only need alpha channels when you need part of your image transparent.

As for not being around on other boards, I am still an Administrator at the former official IW forums - IWNation; and I am one third leader of Raiders Gaming Network, the Priemier modding and mapping community with all the "big Guns" of COD modding under one roof.

Alright sorry for not catching on but I cannot get it back into an .iwi file. I have tried a couple of programs and neither works. Iwi Covector says it cannot find the specified file. But I lead right to it.
