Hi again,

I followed this tutorial on RGN:

and i made everything step by step. but my dogs do not spawn in my map if i type "/give dogs_mp" in the console
a message appears, that my dogs would be available for 60 seconds but nothing happens. they don't spawn.

I don't have any nopatrol_node's in my map. Is this the error maybe? I just created node_patrol for the dogs to my playable space. The nodes arent 100% on the ground(patrol nodes) in my map.

It has the commands to debug your paths, ai_showNodes 1 and developer 1 after devmapping to your map. You should get light blue lines like the photo in the overview. If not tell us what you have.

I didn't know what the connect paths checkbox does, but i think this is my problem. Thank you for the fast answer. i try to recompile using connect_paths.

But I have a generall question about dogs in mp.
In the zombie mode you have a zombie, climbing over the destroyed window to get in your play area. Hot to make a node, that lets my dogs jumping over a sandbag at the beginning, that i can use player_clip and the player can't get in the dog_start area.

okay with connect paths nothing really happens.

after typing in "ai_shownodes 1", "ai_shownodesdist 1024" and "ai_shownearestnode 64" nothing else happens ... no nodes have been visible.

and no dogs spawn ...

Problems with dog nodes would be your dogs didnt move - but they would still spawn.

Hence, you must have a problem with your dog_spawner if the dogs dont spawn at all. Make sure you have placed your dog_spawner completely flush with the ground. I had problems with my dogs spawning because it was just 1 unit below the ground.

No, that shows that your spawner is 1 or 2 units too high. Lower it and see what happens.

I put the dog 2 units down and it is now like that:

Are you actually in devmode? How are you starting your map?

Perhaps you can send me your files again and I can test it for you?
