I have my game setup on my D drive and my mapping tools setup on my F drive. when I run my map from the tools I dont get to select the sniper rifle. I need the scope due to the fact that Im making a sniper TDM map and I get a better look at the map through the scope. does anyone know how to unlock the sniper rifle? on my game side I am at 60 something rank and on my tools side I am still a private.

each mod has its own mpdata file, so your rank from the stock game will not cross over into a mod server.

There is a way to rank up instantly, but I wont release my method until AWE5 is out, and that wont be until Redirect is fixed.

For testing (backup your maps .ff files now to your desktop). Delete any folder containing your maps name (in the codwaw dircetory and in the documetns and settings directory) then place your maps .ff file in the codwaw/zone/english dir.

Load the game, drop the console and type:

/map mp_mapname

This loads the map as part of the game instead of a mod. Remember though only test like this for now and delete or remove any custom FFs from the zone/english before you play on online servers.

(This works for SP, have;t tried in Mp yet but don;t see why it should not work)

I ran my map from the compiler after compiling the map. when the game starts up you can pull down the console and type /give all
that will give you all the weapons. If you don't run the map from the compiler then you get an in game error saying cheats are disabled. Running the game from my compiler was the only way I could get it to work. By the way hogan. What's the i.p of your server and the web addy of the clan nowadays.

Here's a method for ranking up fast courtesy of Open Warfare mod for CoDWaW (this should help for testing purposes, if you want to use it in your release email T3chnor or some other admin at OW site):
---> _powerrank.gsc

This one is included in the _powerrank.gsc so you might need it too:
---> _utils.gsc

Should be able to just call _powerrank::init(); in your script and unlock everything.
