Hey guys, some of you may remember a map i was working on a while back (never realeased) but thought i would convert it to waw, so far going well, many new additions, a few re-designs but i'll post up a few screenies to give you an idea.
Mainly been working on the coastal area, the area is designed to be the front line of defence from coastal attacks, although i have not made the actual beach accessable the entire trenchline can be accessed, you have underground enterances and various paths from the front all the way across the map.
I have made it as open as possible, the player can go anywhere, there are tons of ways to reach each place, so there is no way to easily defend one path. This will make things harder or defence, though to balance the game i have also made it so the defending team can reach there objective long before attackers.
The images have come out much darker than they appear in game, so i have a few rad shot here.
In those shots you can see various building along the coastline and a uboat bunker which is located at the most southern point in the map, the uboat bunker currently has no connections to the underground bunkers and only has 2 pathways in, though this isnt an area which will contain and gameplay objectives (such as flags etc)
Now the map is based on an open scale island, there are several key landmarks, such as the uboat bunker, lighthouse, there is a hardpoint building on the clifftop and various others, there is also a large underground bunker system which covers approx 1/3 of the map. Even though this map is large, vehicle will not work very well so i have no plan on adding them.
