Well, you see, i had just created a cod4 map, and was ready to publish it with the Compile Tools. I currently have many problems,
1. Where do i set the path to?! iw3mp.exe? or what? everyone i click says Not a valid Cod4 Folder
2. Im basically totally confused, could i just send my .MAP file to somone, let them publish it, resend it back to me, etc..?
Im confused, i think i should just start fresh with radiant and reinstall it because ive put to many things in the wrong place, any advice?

wait i fixed the link and stuff, but now i have a few other problems.
1. When i click on compile BSP on Compile Tools in comes up with "WIN_IMPROPER_QUIT_BODY" with yes no, and cancel as options. If you click one it then comes up with "Error during initialization:
EXE_ERR_NOT_FOUNDconfigure.csv"
2. On Mod Builder when im building the FF, am i building the mapname_load File or the actual map file? and when i make the fast file in Mod Builder it says : UNRECOVERABLE ERROR:
EXE_ERR_COULDNT_LOADmaps/mp_zom_hall.d3dbsp

Help :)

Can you post a screenshot of the error?

The Fast File button packs everything needed for your map into a handy .ff file, it does nothing to the map itself, that's done in the Compile BSP and Compile reflections
The second error is because your maps didn't compile, so the FF builder can't find the compiled map.

The .ff files are made with the 'Build Fast File' button in the compile tools.

There is a tutorial on how it works here.

ok i have the pictures here.
so there are those 5 buttons on the compile tools, when i click Compile BSP, it coomes up with these 2 windows :

i either click Yes or No, then it comes up with this :

After that everything closes.
Next I click compile reflections, and it comes up with the Same 2 windows.

Next i build the fast files and it comes up with this :
i dont think the fast fiels were made, and if they were, does it make the load and the normal one at the same time? if so, where are they located.
Lastly i update the zone file and it comes up with this :

I did a little searching on the net, and it might be related to two things:

1) DirectX not up to date, have you updated DX to the latest version?
2) an improper install of CoD4. Have you tried reinstalling it?

edit: The ff error is because it can't find your .bsp file, which obviously wasn't created due to the earlier error.. so that should go away once you've compiled your map.
