Just use a terrain patch and make it so it looks lik a waterfall by using the vertices and use a dynamic texture, like the makin water one.

he doesnt have to do that, Just add the waterfall FX from mp_cliffside

1. Make a waterfall looking terrain out of patches, etc. 2. Add the waterfall fx from mp_cliffside as Hercules said prevousily. Its that easy Have fun mapping.

sry im new to this stuff how do i get the fx from cliff and by terrain patches u mean just make the ground sloped with like a brown rocky texture?

they do help m8 look at tuts on adding fx then add the waterfall fx. you will know how to add the fx once you seen the tutorial m8 its too long and drawn out for someone to post buddy if ya cant manage to do it i will do a tut just on waterfall for yas in the morning edited on Jan. 5, 2009 10:21 pm by elim
