im making a SD map and it takes about 2 hours to compile it, now i have those turrets(flak88 antiair low) that u supposed to plant the bomb in,
but i dont know where are they directiong to.

first of all...take a look at the post i made in this thread
it explains the proper setup of first radiant then graydiant....ignore the stuff pertaining to UO - but your radiant editor should be setup in that fashion

now...when you add a model to your map you need to edit the entity values so that the path is correct

so...a short and simple explanation of how to place a model in your map

right click in 2d --> misc --> model

2 windows will pop open a browser and the entity values

in the browser window locate the xmodel you want to use and open it

in your map you will now have a red cube

in the entity editor look at the path of the model and that is what we need to edit

default path is something like c:program filescall of dutymainxmodelwhatevermodel.map

edit it by removing everything before xmodel and any extension...so edited it will look like xmodel/whatevermodel
press enter and your model will appear in your map...you can now easily SEE which direction it is facing [angryalien]

=] u helped with me with the collmaps and env but the main problem was that : View > Entities as > Skinned and boxed...
mine was set to Bounding Box.
