converter doesnt work, dll error.

I just tried it and got a (very simple) texture to show up in radient. I'm not sure if it was clicking on Converter that made a difference though as I had trouble finding it both before and after I tried that (I probably should have paid attention to which locale I was putting it into).

*edit* okay, had another quick try - didn't need to click on Converter before the texture showed up.

Could you post a screen shot of the Asset Manager or how you did it? I still can't get it into radiant.

hey my xfire timeing out my internet....


ok well when i did it i it has worked for me..

here what i think might b your prob.

Material type - World phong
sort - multiplicitive
surface tpye - what ever
usage - what ever
locales -(you can leave it alone) but i would suggest selecting tools
blendFunc - Replace
cullface - None
Polygon Offeset - None
alpha Test - Always
Depth Test - LessEqual
Depth Write - auto

color map

everything looks good.

but that is what i tried.


another thing are you using mipmaps?

lol, I just can't get it into radiant. I have tried so many things now. I even tried using COD4 Asset Manager, and then copied it over, and still didn't show up in CODWAW Radiant.

I tried 'Nopicmip', 'custom radiant material', etc. with no luck.

Are you converting the material? Select the material on the left hand side and press F10

Also, make sure you save (File > Save...) in to the source_data folder

I have tried all of what you guys have said...nothing. There are files in source_data (.gdt), material, material_properties, etc. Still doesn't show up in Radiant.
