ok maps been working until i created the allies side fo the map..have all the spawns in and stuff i try to compile and it stops at this point..I have not portaled my map yet

File Handles:
----------------------
21837 files in iwd files
reading C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\raw\maps\mp\mp_base.d3dbsp
reading C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\raw\maps\mp\mp_base.d3dprt
LoadPortals: couldn't read C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\raw\maps\mp\mp_base.d3dprt

Then at the bottom of the box in another little box it says and it stops compiling

cod2map -vis -platform pc "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\raw\maps\mp\mp_base" Error -1

The general compile process happens in 2 steps. First it generates the "unrendered" playable file then it uses that file to figure out the lighting thus "rendering" it. That's a pretty small snip out of your compile log but my guess is the first part failed and this error occurred in the second part. Try posting your entire compile log or you may be able to find the specific error by scanning it.

ok thx i found some of these

but the grass is on the surface of a caulked piece of ground so how can it be floating?
