no simple way , the textures are different and so are the models and prefabs , converting the basic map and prefabs in not really a hard task but it does take a lot of time.
Basically you have to untexture everything before you can port it over then re-texture everthing in codww.
Still interested in doing it??

All you need to do is delete all the models and prefabs, than hit I and turn to caulk and than save it into the COD5's map_source folder than re texture and make the prefabs / models. shouldnt take long at all

I have perhaps a silly question, if you used custom textures in the COD4 map and put the same custom textures into WaW... do you still have to retexture or does it just come across textured when opened in WaW rad?

What i did when porting a map from CoD4 to WaW was simply open the CoD4 .map in WaW Rad, save in its own folder then use the Find / Replace textures thing to replace whole lots of textures at once and did the same with models and prefabs.

I still have a couple of questions on this...

Can anyone confirm that the find / replace texture method works? It seems too easy...!

Also, does anyone know if it would work if I was to add custom textures to WaW rad (from COD4) that are named the same as the COD4 stock texture (ie. would the brushes show up correctly textured in WaW?)

I believe the iwi header is different for WaW and you cannot just copy the textures across without reconverting them.

However why don't you give it a go anyway - you might get lucky :D

Yes the texture will show up correctly (aligned and sized) and it will look the same on your brush as it did in COD 4. You will have to recreate the texture in WaW asset manager first though. If you change the name of the texture you'll have to use Find/Replace, otherwise you're done.
