Well, this is gonna be a very large project and I'm going to be very detailed in making this map. It is going to be set in a mall with a TON of zombies, like a real zombie movie. Them all will be similar to Dawn of the Dead and Dead Rising (game). I have not started on the project, but I have been getting images and stuff for it. I will be starting on it tomorrow. It is going to take quite a while to build the mall, as I am going to try to make it as detailed as possible. I am going to also increase the number of zombies drastically per round so it gives the players a lot more shooting time and kills. The mall will have several stores that you can unlock. You will start in the mall plaza (basically where like a fountain is, etc. in the center). The zombies, at first, will come through the main entrance(s) and side entrances. There will be a lot of them coming too, not just 20, more like 50-75+ or so, and it will increase as you go higher in rounds (like regular zombies). I am also trying to work on a script that if you enter a vehicle and drive away, you win or you enter into a different area.

I should have some screen shots tomorrow hopefully, as I still have to start making the mall itself. Release date is obviously not known at the moment, but I will get it done, and it will hopefully be like a real mall, very detailed,etc.

If you have any suggestions or even some images that I could use in making this map, please post them.

Yeah, if anyone would like to help build different parts of the map, you are welcome to. Just let me know which part you are wanting to make, so we don't both build it lol.

I'm just starting on the plaza (where you will start) now. I'm gonna head to bed in about 30 minutes or so, but I should have part of the middle of the plaza done.

Here is the plaza so far:





Some of the pillars on the outside are smaller support ones, instead of the large ones. I will resize them tomorrow. Hope to have the plaza almost done by tomorrow night.

Here is a small update. I have started on the interior plaza entrance and have most of it textured. I still have to add some lights/models to it.

Another update. It is the plaza, where you will spawn when the map is released. This area is probably the largest area, and where the most zombies will come in because the main doors are in this area.

Hey i am creating Standard Bathrooms for the mall.... but now i want to ask you something is it possible to use a model from cod4 in cod5? .... if so how...

i want to use the toilets and the computers for the mall.

you would have to decompile the model from cod4, load it into maya 8.0 - 8.5, then texture it, then export to cod5, then include the xmodel to your map...i aint sure if there is a decompiler for cod4, i never really got into modding for cod4 to notice..

btw the map looks ace so far !! xD
