Thanks to AintNoMeInTeam mappers and modders can now extract sounds to use in their maps prior to mod tools patch.
The app have been released on customcod

Very impressive file, tested it and it works great. Again i wouldn't promote it untill we reach a conclussion in the other thread.

Very nice, but I will hold off on releasing my map with the sounds in it. I don't want any trouble.

However, if it's legal, then I will release my map to some of my friends to test.

Taking it on face value and not looking too deeply, I would say, no, it's not legal. It's the same reason we don't distribute game related files to people who have "broken their dvd" or "accidently deleted the file".

Urgh. We shouldn't be in a position where people have to create custom tools to access files. Talk about a pain in the arse.

does it even work, all the sounds missing when i compile is weapon sounds. nothing about sp or zombie sounds - even if you had them the compiler will not put them in the ff. or it would have gave a error missing them too... unless i missed something

i hope im wrong butt all the sounds im missing is weapon sounds has nothing to do with single player or zombie mode. it could fix the weapon sounds but untill they update the compiler i dont see how it is possible to have all sounds thats in a single player or zombie map since the compilers not even looking for them
