This happens at certain distances and angles and it's starting to bug me[banghead]:

whoa. never saw that before.

try this.. select the texture, open the texture tool, then click align to world.

It doesn't look like it, but did you stretch the vertices of these brushes? too much stretching will cause this problem. Since I see streets, I figure that you did not need to touch the vertices, but I need to ask.

yes, but I don't know what it is. should be pretty big. No harm in clipping those brushes in half. Just try and do it where the game would do it. This would either be at an intersect of brushes or on a multiple of 1024 units.

Hmmmmm.... when I click "Hide items" the textures are fine... So I guess I'll deselected the models when I need to get up and personal with the brushes[eek]

Maybe that makes it a memory issue. It's possible that there is too much going on in your Hammer window that they game just chokes when you get up that close.
