Hi all, Ive downloaded the mod tools but cant extract the files to my game directory, i keep getting errors with winrar and winzip. Howether i am able to extract to a new folder on my desktop, i am using vista 64. Can anyone help?

Might help if we knew what the errors were. As a first guess: check your game folder hasn't been set to read only.

Sorry the error im getting is Error: unable to create output file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\bin\7za.exe"

Its because of vista, turn off your UAC is the easiest or create a new folder and extract them to it then copy and paste all of the files from that folder to your game directory

Vista UAC sucks, ive give up on setting up on vista so i manage to get the bootloader sorted for my xp pro on my other HDD, i now have dual boot working so will install the game and mod tools on xp later today.... Thanks guys for the help

Hi, So i finaly got time today to set this up and get going on my first map, but before i do can anyone tell me if i can install the game on 2 HDD without any cdkey/account profile issues. As i did read somwhere that its best to make sure you at least play SP and MP once before using the tools...
