Hi all,

Ive downloaded the mod tools but cant extract the files to my game directory, i keep getting errors with winrar and winzip. Howether i am able to extract to a new folder on my desktop, i am using vista 64. Can anyone help?

Might help if we knew what the errors were.

As a first guess: check your game folder hasn't been set to read only.

Sorry the error im getting is Error: unable to create output file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\bin\7za.exe"

Its because of vista, turn off your UAC is the easiest or create a new folder and extract them to it then copy and paste all of the files from that folder to your game directory [thumbs_up]

Vista UAC sucks, ive give up on setting up on vista so i manage to get the bootloader sorted for my xp pro on my other HDD, i now have dual boot working so will install the game and mod tools on xp later today....

Hi,
So i finaly got time today to set this up and get going on my first map, but before i do can anyone tell me if i can install the game on 2 HDD without any cdkey/account profile issues.
As i did read somwhere that its best to make sure you at least play SP and MP once before using the tools...
