I have compiled my test map but when it loads it looks like this




any ideas please?

This is most likely due to not making a .grid file. I am not sure how to do this yet (still fixing my errors starting radiant) so look for something like "compile .GRID file" or something like that.
nullFew tips for coding.
1. Keep the script as short as possible.
2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out.
3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read.

These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes.

...and reflection probes, make sure you put one in each new area.

I put the reflection points in an the color has gone ow except for the player the gun an player are still multicolored

I have been using reflection probes and grid volume in my map the same as we would in COD4.

Basically go to textures>tools and selec "light grid volume" then cover the playable space in your map with this texture.

yeah i got this too but i dont understand what you mean with reflection probes how to add it?

Right click the 2d grid and select reflection_probe, place this in your map, not touching anything.

It's normal to have one of these per portal cell but it's best when testing to just use one.

You can also use search function under COD 4...this same problem was addressed a bunch when that version came out and seeing as Radiant is about the same....try that for answers also. Be quicker than waiting for replies ?
