The year is 2010, the mideastern nations have united together to stop the "infidles who dare invade our land". In 1 year time the new Arab coalition manages to conquer Saudi Arabia's rich oil supplies, thus seizing control over the entire Middle East, and soon after launches airbourne assaults all over Europe.
Much of Eastern Europe's key cities have been occupied by the "Holly warriors". Greece has fallen, former Yugoslvavia has fallen, Bulgaria has fallen, europen Turkey is under taliban control and the US marines ( currently fighting on the Turkish - Iraqi border ) risk beeing surrounded and destroyed.
Seeing this weaknest, 3 former Soviet republics try to allign themselfs with the arabs.
The Russian head of inteligence finds out that the declaration of this alliance will take place in the bulgarian city of Rousse. The treaty will be signed by non-ither than Khaled Al Asad, the man who came up with the airbourne tactic. Realising they have nothing to lose the allies send teams of SAS and Spetsnaz in the area to eliminate Al Asadq and stop the alliance from beeing signed....

And thats the story in my new sp map - Cinema, allthough the level will not take place completely inside a cinema ( the map has a history of its own thats why the name hasnt changed ), you will play as Sgt. Jack Almeida from the 30-th Spetznaska Voiska, and you allong with your squad have just entered the city. As the story progreses you will have to fight thru the city streets, hold the line against enemy counter attacks, kill Al Asad and eventually liberate the city.

The level itself features:
- Completely visitable locations through the entire city including: whole appartment blocks ( all apartments visitable ), underground night clubs, parks and of course the infamous cinema
- New additions to your arsenal like AK74 with silencer and so on...
- A completely interactive enviroment ( even the slides can be used, serriously )
and many more....

Update:

Not to worry the project is not dead by a longshot, and here are the first screenshots of the cinema's interior plus a little glimpse of the nearby church. Other upates:
- New weapons that will surely be added: AK74 with silencer, G3 Semi-Auto and M9 Silencer ... ( Sticky Grenades anyone?:)
- Now for the story i am seriously thinking of making the characters more... human if you will, aka your comrades will act more human in certain situations but more importantly our playable character wont keep quiet during the game, and will have quite a few lines on him ( has that ever been done in any cod level before )

Though i give a litlle update on the progress. Just started building the highway and a little backyard basketball and football playground. Also ive recently began to increase the overall dificulty ( aka more bad guys to shoot :) The friendly AI is causing me some troubles ( at one compile moves goes where he is suposed to , on the next compile - NO, what magic is that ). Anyway enjoy the new screenies...

I dont know if anyone ever noticed that some of the AI in sp were wearring the AT4 rocket launcher on their backs, but it was never released in the final version. Well turns out the AT4 rocket launcher is completely finished and only leaves us to wnder why it was never released in the game. Anyway I allready added that weapon to my map, which you can check on these screenshots:
