I've found that since I started making maps, and tinkering with Mod Tools in general, that my multiplayer doesn't run in a full screen mode anymore. Whenever I make changes and run the map COD loads it in a windowed state. Single player works fine in full screen, though.

Now, I've tried re-installing. That didn't work.
I've tried changing the values the config_mp.cfg. That didn't work either.

I'm really at a loss and I was wondering if it might have something to do with the Mod Tools corrupting the default settings somehow.

The windowed state hasn't bothered me much because I haven't been playing online since I started focusing on making maps, but now it's really annoying! lol

Any ideas?

IN CONSOLE OR profiles CONFIG look for

r_fullscreen 0
and change it to 1

so its r_fullscreen 1

Thank you. It worked. But, if I 'Run Selected Map' from the Console tools it resets it to a windowed state.

I don't mind running MultiPlayer first and using the in game console to load my map. I just find it weird it would keep resetting it in Compile tools. Meh.

Well that is what you have to deal with when Mapping.

The "Compile Reflections" is the reason why it goes into window mode. If you compile reflections when you first compile your map for the first time, when you compile it again to test it, don't run the compile reflections. Just do it when you have too. You don't have to run it everytime.

You can avoid the compile reflections problem by using custom command line options right in the compile tools ("use custom command line options"). For example, these are the commands I use:

+set r_fullscreen 1 +set fs_game mods\customMaps +set g_gametype dm +set scr_game_playerwaittime 0 +set g_speed 200
