Ok so I installed the multiplayer beta, i go to run it and all it does is load up a black screen with a cursor and i cant do anything!.

Ive been waiting to play this game for so long now. I just dont understand whats wrong. I think its somthing to do with my pc cuz Ive downloaded two different files from different sites and there both the same and same issue. so i know its the computer and not the game.

Im able to run cod4 fine. its just this damn beta.Has anyone else had this problem?

Would be great if anyones got any solutions for this.

Some of my clan mates are having the same issues. I believe its your graphics card or the like. Try playing with the drivers (making sure they are up to date) If they are maybe roll it back. If that doesnt help, try doing the same thing with your sound drivers.

Yer updating some of my drivers now. Hope it solves it. I remember I had a similiar issue with cod4 and i had to change my sound settings, was so wierd.

None of the methods you sugested Codlink worked :(. Guess I'll have to wait untill the game comes out.

But could you let me know if any of your clan members solve the problem? would be great thanks.

I had this happen once. It happened as the next map was loading after already playing a couple of rounds. So seems to be an isolated incident on my part. I had to End Task to get out of it. Hope your successfull soon

make sure your directx 9.0c is up to date with the august 08

yer sorted it, I didnt realy have to do anything. I waited 5 mins on the black screen. and wala! it loaded lol. Some seriouse problems with this beta tho....
