How do you put waving flags in your map I dont mean ctf flags just a flag waving in the wind.

do you know how the ctf flags wave?

What if you copy the prefab of one of the flags. Rename it to something else. Right click that prefab in the editor>enter prefab, remove anything having to do with CTF and such, leave prefab and save.

I say make a copy so you don't disturb the original prefab.

Only way I can think of having a moving flag in the map.

you may noticed, that the flag is even waving in radiant while moving the camera. so i guess it's kind of a shader rather than a xanim?

thanks Deek once again you are a big help. I edited the flag in prefab edit and removed the ctf stuff works like a charm. what Im wondering now is can I put a team logo on that flag.

Since the flag is a model put in the game the only way to add a logo is to make your own flag in a modeling program such as maya.

Only under the premiss, that the waving flag IS a model and not something else (s.o.)!

You should be able to find that flags skin in the .iwd files and re-skin it with your logo.

It will be backwards on one side though.
