How do I turn off those red boxes around prefabs?

i been meaning to ask that very same question...is it possible to disable the red boxes around prefabs and the blue boxes around the entities base?

You should see on the top tool bar a Green letter E with a white background, click it, and check "skinned" instead of skinend and boxed. I think that does it.

edit// Just Checked it and yes that works, the button is at the far right hand side of the toolbar, if you cant see it then enlarge tool bar but clicking between two buttons and dragging it downwards.

techno2sl, that doesn't work. I'm already viewing as skinned and the boxes are still there. If I choose skinned and boxed, I get larger boxes around the entire prefab.

Yeah sorry was using a model to test with by mistake, I guess its so you always know what's a prefab and what's not. You can of course get rid of all the red lines. But then that would involve loading the prefabs .map data into the working .map normally through file>load, making the purpose of a prefab obsolete.

I guess its down to you, if you like working with prefabs, you have to make do with the bounding boxes. If you really can't stand those lines then don't use prefabs.

i just wish i could shut em off when i wanna take a screenshot or something, they are fine when im workin on the map, doesnt really bother me. just wonedred. oh well.. back to mapping!

In Radiant go to Edit -> Preferences
In the middle section (New functionality) you'll find at the lower left two settings, 'model origin size' and 'prefab origin size'. The values infront of them defines how big this boxes are. Set their values to '0' and the boxes will gone.
