Can someone help. I have created a loadscreen for my map. Followed the tutorial. Did everything it said to do. I created a map name folder that has the fast file the loadscreen file I made and the iwd file that has images as well as the loadscreen image in it. But for some reason when entering the server, the loadscreen is the default cehckered box one. Anyone know why it is not working. I had made another one and that one works on a different map, but I didn't actually put it on the server, someone else put all the files togerther and then put it on the server. I am wondering if I am missing something.

dude the same thing happens to me I have never been able to make a loadscreen with the CoD4 tools I have. it makes everything materials images and csv everything converts with no errors. after updating my zone and build my .ff files I move the .ff and .iwi to their places . run the map on my game side and there is no loadscreen just the default checkerboard crap.
I can make compass minimaps textures and decals with "assman" with no problems but it will not make a loadscreen to save it's life.
I have to send my poo-poo to a fellow mapper in the UK just to have loadscreens for my maps.

Somebody please help me. I just don't understand this at all. I follow the tutorial to the letter. But for some reason know I can't even convert the loadscreen TGA. It is telling me that the gdt file is read only and can't be converted. What do I have to do, to get my loadscreen to work??? Please help

OG_Luciano writes...That problem have a lot at the beginning.

Before you hit the PC-Convert button in AssetManager, save the settings to the levels.gdt. file in your folder source_data
File -> Save as... -> folder source_data -> levels.gdt
After that you are able to convert the material and level.
