Ok so past day I have been trying to get some vehicles moving in COD4. Just made a simple map and have tried several different tutorials each giving different errors.

I have tried these:

Tried this cod2 tut with no success:

I used this vehicle "vehicle_humvee_camo"

Using sparks tutorial I followed it and did it and ONLY tried to get the vehicle moving from spot A to B, so I didnt try to put anyone in it or anything. So I get these errors

When I compile the map:

It says
"Could not load vehicle file [Vehicle/humvee]

I assume that means i need to put something in my Zone file that isnt there tho I have updated it with everything that appears there.

can you define a name for your path nodes somehow? 'cause thats what the error says, pathnode x has no name

check the link to the wiki page again, and scroll down to the errors section.

As for the node error try building the nodes again (you may have made a mistake).

hmm what type of mistake...all i did was make about 5 vehicle nodes going in a straight line and connected them using "W" and made all the errors between them going the same way.

There was a red line going from the vehicle to the first node.

I had this problem in COD 2, the reason I got the error was because one of my nodes was not connected.

The error tells you where the node that has the missing name is. Perhaps there is a node that is sitting under the terrain some where. Or a double node sat in the exact same possition. Try moving the nodes to see if they are all connected, if they are in a straight line they may look connected, but infact are not.
