I have no scripting experience, but would like to modify the main menu buttons for a clan mod.

I tried following the tutorial under COD4 Tutorials, but any changes I make to the menu.menu file do not appear to have any effect.

I have put new menu background images within the images sub folder of the modwarfare folder, and edited the menu.menu file within the ui_mp sub folder in the modwarfare folder.

I then run the makemod.bat which makes a new mod.ff file and a z_modwarfare.iwd. I then copy these two files into a sub folder within mods called starlight.

The .iwd file works and when I run the mod, it changes the menu backgrounds. There are however no changes to the menu buttons.

I was trying to make the initial Join button a direct link to a Clan server as indicated in the Tutorial.

Could someone confirm in an idiot proof list where I might be going wrong with the process?
