We will be performing website/webserver upgrades this weekend. This means that the ability to upload files from the website will be turned off until the upgrade is complete. If you would like to submit a file to us, please either wait until the upgrade is complete or email it to us at files@modsonline.com.

We do not expect the site to be inaccessable at any time.

Updates regarding our progress will be posted in the comments for this article. You are welcome to report anything you think we should know about here as well.

For those of you with FTP accounts, please do not make any changes to your accounts as they will not be carried over to the new server. You will be notified of how to access your FTP account when everything is setup again.

If you are not notified by Monday, let us know and we'll fix the problem.

If this server changes posses and immediate problem to you and the access of your files, let us know and we'll work with you come up with a solution.

When the move is done, it may also be a case of a different domain name. Right now ftp addresses start at files.modsonline.com. IT will be reduced to modsonline.com.

We will notify everyone individually of the account changes and methods of access.

Again, if this poses a problem, let us know. We are physically moving the website and the files both to a new server.

actually - looks like i am going to have my hands full
call of duty server is running - but not pingable....???
connection is unavailable as well, so you may want to temporarily remove the block to increase webpage load time
my apologies, and i am working on getting it fixed ASAP

It took 12 hours to download all the files and now I am uploading. It's been 11 hours and I am more than 1/2 way through.... I just can't be sure how much more. That's alot of files.

Ya. Good luck with the server. I think it was last year or the year before that when the hackers toasted lots of websites, mine and foyleman's. But anyway DNS was screwed up on the internet for quite a while. Which pertains to the ping part.

In a little while I will be shutting down the website for about 15 minutes while I perform a database update. A temporary page will be displayed while the update is performed.
