Does anyone know how to make a road tilt as it makes turns down a hill? I now know how to bend a road (with the "B" key) and tilt the whole road with ("free rotate" button), but how do I tilt the road as it makes turns down a hill? Any help would be appreciated, John.

do it in this order

- 1 Rotate sideways

- 2 Rotate down

- 3 bend according to bend needed

Should give you a nicely sloped and bent road

I'm not sure if I am remembering this correctly, so according to my muddled memory its not a good idea to rotate patches with "R", but instead just move the vertices. Rotating patches manually can cause light errors or even vertex errors (means your compile will probably crash)

Of course if your using a prefab of terrain then free rotate is fine.

Playing around with the number of vertices a patch has, and moving the vertices individually or in groups makes good practice and you will eventually end up with the shape that you require.
