question to pros, dont want noobs sugesting stuff i want a yes or no answere from pros (the noobs can read of course lol):
is it possible to make a cod:uo texture out of an animated gif file, and it will still be animated wen u use it on ure map and play it on the internet?? because i had an idea of a movie theatre and wanted to no if i could make it lol. (btw i meant if ure noobs in graphics stuff, and animations and filetypes, not noobs in cod mapping.)

You would have to convert the .gif to a .tga and .tga files are not animated someone my know a way but as far as i know you can't

best bet is to extract the movie file into individual .tga files and then create a patch or brush for each .tga file, then create a script to 1) hide all of these brushes, then 2) quickly show 1 brush, 3) hide that brush and show another, and continue until you want it to stop. But i think this will pretty much kill the FPS on that map.
