u need to have a file in your create effects folder called mp_name_fx.gsc.

Here is an example.

main()
{

ent = maps\mp\_utility::createOneshotEffect( "name of fx id");
ent.v[ "origin" ] = ( 1264, -808, 325 );
ent.v[ "angles" ] = ( 270, 0, 0 );
ent.v[ "fxid" ] = "name of fx id";
ent.v[ "delay" ] = -3;

}

also dont forget to put "maps\createfx\mp_mapname_fx::main();"
in your .gsc file and rawfile,maps/createfx/mp_mapname_fx.gsc in your .csv

The FX now is playing by it self but the red FX object still there.

The FX is playing by itself, because the createfx script is telling it to... there is nothing to trigger it or to stop it from being triggered... so that is basically no use to you.. so you can remove all the createfx stuff.

Place this line in your mapname.gsc file instead of your _fx one.

level._effect["exp_wall_cinderblock_96"] = loadfx("breakables/exp_wall_cinderblock_96");

Also,did you link them correctly? origin->FXmodel and not the other way around.. Also note.. it IS a CoD tutorial, so it might work totally different in CoD4 :p

I'll see if I can get it to work tomorrow and I'll get back to you.

I´ve found the error

for the FX model, I´ve used an misc model, insted of a script model

man!! [duh]
