Hey all,

We (Lt.J.Snellius and I (maverick)) are glad to tell you that our map mp_stcomedumont is almost finished.
It will compete with the modscon04 contest.
Gametypes: BEL, DM, TDM, SD, RE, HQ

It's a nice Normandy town with som fields and lot's of extra's.
You have to see it for yourself when it will be released after 10th january (result date of the modscon04)
The map is as good as complete with all the stuff in it like loadscreen, layout image, sounds, FX, working doors, working windmill (and also totally accesible to the top very nice spot :))

l8r i will add more screens!! this are some screens from two weeks ago :)

Tell me all what you think, pls comment so maybe i can get it a bit better at some points!!:D so all of you tell me what you think!!

That looks a lovely map, and i finnaly get to see another map being entered into the compertition. Looks like a real lot of effort has gone into it, i especially like the roads on the last picture, just how did you do that?

Good look with the contest dudes, and it now looks like i we all (including I) have some very good competition. [devilishgrin]

ohhyeah and also costum textures like roadsign, and roadname, and numbers on houses.

thnx adwam!! haha about the roads i don't want to think about it!!:P haha it was moving vertice by vertice
it took one week each day with testing with methods how to get the road i wanted it. eventually i took a look at the dawnville map and i did not copied it, but just moved each vertice by vertice to get the bends etc. :( a lot of work but i am glad with the endresult Snellius and I learnt alot of this map, this is the first map of us so everything was new for us :) that is also why it took so long to make because we countered so many probs and errors

tonight the last compile (probably) and then a loadscreen and a layout image and then i will submit it to let mp_stcomedumont compete wioth the modscon04 map contest!! :D

I hope things will work out, because my .pk3 with out .map file is already bigger then 5mb,
but i hope i have a solution for it,
but guys come on i need some comments :D... because i worked pretty hard just say what you like from the screens and what not!!:D...

hey all, mp_stcomedumont is competing in the modscon04 contest now so after the result date it will be released.

i hope you like it.. :) and tell me all what you think so far looking to teh screens and shall i put more screens on this topic..?
