Hey guys, newb to modding could do with aheads up here please!

so ive built some of my map etc etc
the playable area not the scenery as of yet. so anyway back to the point..

i built a map, i did the world spawn settings etc etc
compiled,compressed the normal goings on.
ran map and came out red, so before i did some research i backed my files up, as you would and found that i had to add, reflection probes, so i did this, i added around 1k+ probes rofl,,
i find it funny as these now lagg the map when trying to edit. anyway i placed them 2 grids above feet, then went to knee height, then head height,
compiled with the tools ran map, and its still red!

ive now deleted the part with all these probes in as i said i backed up files before hand, is there any way i can get rid of the red? without adding thousands of probes.. my map is just alittle bigger then shipment i mean come on do i need that many probes! lol..
any helpt ot a newb modder? Thanks in advamce just incase hehe

you should use about 60 reflection probes for a large map

don't forget to compile reflections after compiling the full map (not entsonly!) and rebuild fastfile!

yes. unless you just want to quickly test stuff, compiling reflections is allways needed.

Yes. Reflections do more than getting rid of the red colours.

From the wiki:

"Reflection probes are very important for the look of all shiny things in the game. Place one per room and one in each distinct outdoor area and additional ones near any especially shiny objects. They use memory but its reasonable to have 10-100 of them."
