I've got a quick question... I want to try to make a simple single player level, but where do I start? What is the very first thing i should do? I've tried making some levels before but never get very far before i get stuck. Please help.

I know how to make the maps, but what i'm asking is do you have any tips on how to plan a map. For exaple, should i make the whole map in caulk without any detail first, or should finish one area before starting a new one? thanks

Draw it on paper first. It doesn't have to be pretty, but enough to get the idea. If you come up with an idea for the map write it down right away, even if it's 2 am.
