Started dabbling in Hammer, want to get into level design and scripting singleplayer maps.

One error I keep running into...
I launch my map from File> Run Map...
Loads up fine and works well, but then when I go to menu and quit, I get back to desktop but my CPU is maxed out at 100% and my PC practically freezes but the mouse is still able to move with like a 5 second delay. Hammer shows my map in the viewports like it's ghosting.

Not sure what's causing this, maybe something I'm doing wrong (am I supposed to exit out of testing via a command and not use the menu), anyone have suggestions?

Thanks.

Not sure what I did but I don't run into the freeze anymore now that I put -dev -console in the compile command line and use the Quit command to exit out.

Either the command line or using the Quit command have helped?

EDIT: Here's what I figured out how to do so far after messing around in the editor for an hour:

I like the editor so far, except the view port controls are kind of weird having to hold down Space Bar to move around. It's not like Radiant or Maya view port movement controls, confusing. [smokin]
