hello peeps
i've made a wall using some terrain patchs

then i copyed it and move it but the new wall has massive gaps in it

heres what it looks like in the radient

any idea what causes this......

ive had this prob...i think it is when u have a terrain patch that goes around a 90deg corner

try cutting it into separate patches (select the row and press ctrl+shift+x)

this wont make any more triangles than you already have

why in santas name are you using terrain patches for a wall?.. just use brushes man..

@SporadiC cos they look nicer lol

@sudswu i thought it was me bendin it more than 90 deg but have a look at me 88

its missing a bit on the bottom but if you look at it in the radient

its a single terrain patch 1 by 1 so it cant be bent more than 90 deg [crazy]

Open the editor and try selecting the terrian patch that gives the error, then press the S key. Now try some of the buttons (like CAP etc) that make the texture look ok. Then recompile and test again.
