Hi, i want to creat my first mod ever.
So i have started to sum up some ideas for this mod and here
is the first problem (i am totaly new in modding and scripting)

Can i change the lightsettings form the maps (i want them to look like in the night)

Please help me

yes u can change the light settings. go through some of the map gsc's and look for their fog. that is one way to get your level darker. their might be an easier way but i havnt started modding cod4 yet.

If you talking about making ur own maps then it would be in the world spawn settings, like ambience and brightness etc...

hopefully someone else can back me up or tell me im wrong :D

i will edit maybe 15 or 20 own classes so i want to
add some "extra buttons" but i do not know how to
create them

ok it looks like there isn`t any "easy" way, and i finished my first own mod but there is the next problem:

i`ve got a tutorial mod (calls rocketarena)
but when i will load a map with my mod, i get a error message (Scripting Error , couln`t finde rocketarena/rocketarena)
but my mod isn`t baded on this mod or use any script of it.

There is an easy way to adjust light levels.

In my mod I added a "time of day" lighting - it spawns you at a certain "time of the day" then progresses that day on with lighting to match it. eg. Highest light at midday and darkest at midnight.

Play around with r_brightness and r_lighttweaksunlight.

to fix the rocket arena problem you have to figure what file you forgot to finish editing.
search any csv dat and gsc files for rocketarena and then replace with the appropriate name for your mod.
