The surprise expected this week from Valve is now listed on the STEAM NEWS site as "SOON" along with a screenshot. I've got some ideas of what we could be seeing here.... I'll leave my opinions for the comments on this story. click for larger

ok.. looking at the screenshot.. let's break it apart: - you have a non-Gordon character holding the gravity gun - the toilet has nothing to do with the scene exept comedy - you can see the character holding the weapon which means it's probably not you So here are some guesses: - coop - hl2 deathmatch - you can play as another character

Well the fact that the screenshot is looking at the guy with the toilet gun doesn't mean that the camera was an in-game character. There are hundreds of screenshots of HL2 from a "free spectate" angle that valve made... I am just wondering who that person in the blue is in the background... He is aiming at the same people the toilet-thrower is... Could be co-op which would ROCK, but I have a feeling it is something like additional campaign...

I am sure that what they are trying to show us is that someone other than Gordon is using the gravity gun. The rest of what is going on is all a guess.
