I made a very small aim map. Made a folder mymapname, inside it 2 .ff files. It works perfect on a local server. I sended it to the server admin of our clan, but when he wants to run the map on our private pam4 server, he gets this error: Quote: /map mp_aim_ak_colt Unknown command "selectStringTableEntryInDvar" Error: Can't find map "mp_aim_ak_colt". Can anyone help me with this?

This sounds like a PAM problem and not with your map specifically. Does this also happen with other custom maps? Did you add any extensive scripting to your map? Try googling for the error message ("selectStringTableEntryInDvar"), I took a quick look and it looks like you're not the only one with this problem.

Don't know if it happens with other custom maps, didn't try that yet.. I'll ask the server admin to try the map on our k3 mod or x4 mod server :)

kriDje (the server admin) typed the map name wrong, so now we don't get that error anymore but now he loads chinatwon intead of my map on the pam4 mod server. The map worked perfect on the x4 mod server . I don't have a minimap, helicopter paths and airstrike paths yet, might that cause a problem? And I want to delete the tdm spawns, only keep the tdm_start spawns. Will that cause errors or not? edited on Jul. 19, 2008 01:24 pm by Dancing_Lobster
