Hey,
Im still fairly new to using the mod tools but ive now got a couple of wells and trapdoors which have a terrain running through underneath them. I was wondering how to create a hole in my terrain at these points so i can fall through.

Any help will be appreitiated thx

If you mean you want to create a hole in a terrain patch, you'll have to cut the terrain patch in pieces. You can do this by selecting the terrain patch and press V. Then select a line of points from one side of the patch to the other side, now press shift + control + x. You have now cut your terrain patch,

If i remember right (and its been a long time lol), this tut shows you how to trim up terrain. Its for cod1, but i think its pretty much the same.

Another thing is that I dont no how to select all prfebs of the same type eg grass.

select the model you want in the 3d window, then shift+A.

Theres a list of commands in the help menu - look in there to see what else you can do :)
