I made my first map compiled it and went searching for the file in my HL2 folder.. I found it I clicked on the .BSP file to run it and this error comes up [ Unable to load Filesystem_stdio.dll ]

Anyone know how to fix that?

copy the bsp to the steam/.../.../counter strike source/maps folder and run it in game. Not sure the exact name of path but it has to be in the source/maps folder. Hammer doesn't put it there, you have to copy and paste it there.

There is no maps folder after the Counter strike source folder. The only map folder in Counter-Strike source folder is in the cstrike, but those are .manifest and .cache files..
I dont mean to complain lol but Im not getting it.

That is where they need to be placed.

Yea the browse textures button or simply hitting the little arrow allows you to scroll through them. Also you can click in the 3d window and then look up in the options up top (can't remember the exact area, possible the edit menu), and make sure the 3d window is displaying textured polygons and not just wireframe.

Okay Got that to work [biggrin] , I have Anthor question lol.
Why does it take so long to compile a map? it always takes its time at the end.. Is that normal or is there a more reliable compiler I can get?
