Hey all,

I encountered this minor but very vexatious problem that hinders me from proceeding further into my map.

All of sudden, my map refuses to allow me to change the height of a brush. I can adjust the width and length of the brush, but I cannot adjust its height.

I have a feeling something is triggering this, but I cannot find it within my radiant tool. I also could not find any information about this on this forums either.

If anyone could lend this humble mapper a hand, I would appreciate it.

You've probably locked one of the axis. Go to the toolbar above and look for the buttons that have x and y and z on them (little bit right of center), click the one that unlocks the correct axis. (Either x or y I think).

I still encounter the same problem even though lock axis is not checked.

I'm afraid I have not explained my problem with detail.

Whenever I try to scale the y-axis, I cannot scale it, for Radiant moves the brush instead.

if you are resizing it in the box to the far left, then thats why you cant scale the height...

if you are doing it in the 2d grid, good, also change views by hitting Ctrl + Tab sizing the brush in the 2d grid and not the elevation box works better, some people prefer it the other way but w/e thats them.

or...one of your axis locks are activated
