when i tried the tutorial it didnt work

all i got was pink and blaxck checkers and then when i spray it nothing shows

i think i messed up when putting the files i made form the .tga intto a folder, i went all the way to the end of the file chain following your instructions until there was one folder left called "UI" and just to be on the safe side i put the files outside of UI and inside of it.

Follow it exactly, no room for mistakes.

One more question:

The other stock sprays are in
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\username\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\VGUI\logos\UI

but your tutorial says a different folder, and it seems like it's meant for the Counter Strike Source Beta

your tutorail says that the folder is:
C:\Program files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\your-user-details\counter-strike source beta\cstrike\materials\VGUI\logos

so where do i put em?

I'm afraid I've also got a question, or a plea. I can't see the spray when I spray it in the game, I hear the sound but theres no spray. And I CAN see the preview pic in the spray selection thing but there is no image in-game. I'm pretty sure I got the transparency mask right and I don't think I deviated from the tutorial at all so I'm just wondering if you have any idea as to what could be causing this. Nevermind: I had to resize the image from 512x512 to 256x256. Thanks!

Sorry for not answering sooner.
there is a size limit for images but i cant remember.
i know that you dont meet that limit using 256X256 so id say thats a good size to play with.

and where to add images just remove beta from the url.
