Which war will WaW be? And where? Cuz i Looked at other Topics and some say that it will be WWII... but with that Screens i dont thing so... PS: It would be good to make an CoD WWI game... not only WWII... at WWI died more ppl i thing! Alex

Its a WW2 game based on the pacific theatre and more of the eastern front. America vs Japan and Russia vs Germany

Admittedly, it's hard to tell much from the limited media available ... but does anyone else think the graphics look a bit bland?

I dont think they look bland, just not as shiny as COD4 which is understandable, I think people imagine more rustic scenery when they think of WWII. There seems to be a lack of player/ai shadows in those screens, and certainly no AI shadows on the water... still

i think the graphics look nice, a bit of a movie style of lighting loads of atmosphere... just the way i like it. but yes now that you mention it player shadows don't seem to be there aah well we'll just wait for th final result

I think also as with CoD4, if they keep it patched regularly (if required) rather than waiting for months for patches like previous CoD's this will greatly help. I just upgraded my system to a GTX260, but still went with a dual core AM2 6000+ to overclock instead of the latest Phenom - Doh !!!! - maybe next year.

WWI lasted 4 years, and although I do not know the numbers, I can definiatelly say that the 6 year WWII had at least one and a half as many casualties... Also, a game about WWI would be boring, and I dont think it would have been interesting... WWI was a trench war, with rifles, arty, and static MGs... Seriously, I would never buy a game bout WWI...
