Ok, guys,
I have gone thru this tut on adding helicopters to a map, only to find out that a node called heli_leave does not exist.
I like the format of your TUT, but, well, in fact,
I wish all you guys out there that add a tutorial to this and
other websites would at least test your tutorials, and notes.

And while I'm venting, my experience is that, JUST BECAUSE
YOU KNOW HOW TO "USE ONE PROGRAM", DOES NOT MAKE
YOU AN EXPERT AT COMPUTERS!!!
I am sure that we have all taken courses in college, only to find
out that the instructor KNOWS the information, but does not
know how to teach. That seems to be the case in these forums, when it comes to a tutorial. How many times have I run into bad spelling, incorrect punctuation, and so on...
I know we are not all from the US, but come on people...
YES, I know, this is only a game, but really.
If you are going to post a tutorial, then please, get your spelling corrected, and test it out on your server first, and be sure it works.
This reminds me of: When I started out in this industry, in 1981, I eventually learned C Programming, and so I would purchase a book on programming in C, and then type in the program, into Borlands Turbo C IDE, spending hours of typing, only to find out that, if the program was for Microsoft C, then a few changes had to be made, for it to compile and run with Borland. This was the DOS days.

'Nough said. Simply put. I have seen MANY tutorials that were correct and you could tell, the person putting together the tutorial, spent time, making sure it was correct. GUYS, make sure your tut works before you post it.

You are correct, thats why we have implemented a new system to allow members to modify the tutorials if they find anything wrong.

I can see your modification to the helicopter tutorial and will go and check it for a approval now..

The tutorial on this site does not speak about a "heli_leave" node.

Code:
Node 5 will created outside the playable area of your map and placed next to the heli_dest node (created after this step).

Node 5:
Key: Value:
targetname auto474
_color 0 1 .5
angles 0 30 0
script_accel 20
script_airspeed 50

Notice there is no "target" associated with this node. Very important to leave out the target associated with this node otherwise when a player calls the helicopter it will not leave the map!

Personally, I suggest next time reading the tutorial a little better before going off on a rant like this.
