Q. Any idea if they have addressed the custom maps set ups? Will it be more server/client friendly? Unlike Cod4.

Stryder, i have a question bout the modtools for world at war.

are they gonna implent or make it possible that u can import textures and models from previous cod series?
So for example if im making a map in world at war and i wanna implent a texture or model from cod2 in the map that i can easy implent it.
Now with cod4 i have to do alot of converting etc to get a cod2 model into cod4, with help from zeroy's tutorials i was able to do that but its kinda a long way to make it happen.
Are they taking this into consideration to make it much more easier?

Stryder: I had a particular question concerning the Co-op function in COD:WW. Is the mode placing Human players against Computer controlled A.I., or is it placing two teams composed of humans with squad-leaders giving orders? The most important, Co-op will most likely be seen on the 360, you had stated you would like it to be playable on PC via Internet/LAN. How conceivable is the latter?

Great post Stryder, I do have a question for you though.

In your opinion do you feel this is going to be another CoD where they develop primary for the consoles, then just port it over to the PC? Is it going to be another console port?

This isnt a question just something I'm wondering. I wonder how they are going to make the flame thrower not over powered in MP- I remember in UO it was pretty over powered.

Stryder did mention that he thought this was not just a port. That this game was built from the ground up to play well on all ports.

Plus, they developed on the PC using the CoD4 source code as a base. Therefore I expect to to play similar to CoD4 which I don't think feels like a console port.

Are Treyarch still looking to support this game in the mod community as stated in the article. It's just a number of us experience problems with the tools? I've been to treyarchs forums to also look for ansers and they are void of any activity.

Whew, old thread indeed.

I would not expect more support than that of which you already receive. I don't think they are getting paid for the support they provide and therefore there is little encouragement to proceed further.
