This week, I was invited to visit the Santa Monica studios of Treyarch who are well into the development on Call of Duty : World at War. The first looks at this title were impressive to say the least. While there is an embargo on what information we (community members in attendance) can pass on (for now)....I will most definitely be releasing a full report of what I saw and experienced while there once the publicity restriction is lifted... For now, all I can say is that Treyarch have taken something impressive (CoD4 engine) and floored me with it...WOW!!! For now - StrYdeR out...

I hail from .MAP CoD, not IWN. Two different places, although both sites are pretty dead now. I'll be sure to post article here first since this place is like home away from home. Pleasure meeting you StrYdeR, look forward to meeting you again.

Nice to see members of the community at large were invited. How did the battle ensue as to who was going to play it first So truth is you visited but due to the riot you only got to view, not play I guess we will just have to wait in the wings - our time will come

Somthing that you can maybe tell us about in Modsonair later? Did you get a chance to ask any developers at Treyarch if they were original Grey Matter Interactive developers? As I would really like some of the United Offensive team to be working on this one.
