Hey I have a 2 part question.

I have a building with 2 levels. Light from the sunlight outside seems to be coming in from under the wall on the first level even though it is flush against the floor. I dragged that wall below the ground and the light still looks like it's coming in from under the wall. How do I stop this effect?

2nd. Between my floor levels from the outside I can see a slice in the building where I created the top level wall and bottom level wall. However these 2 walls are flush against each other on the smallest grid. What's the deal?

Is it ok to have 2 brushes intersecting each other?

don't make your wall flush on the floor, but do it the other way around.. but the floor flush against the wall, if you know what I mean...

not

but

that should fix the first problem.

The second one: Did you put the floor 'through' the wall? If so, don't. Do the same as with the 1st problem.

Thanks Caretaker you understand what I mean and I see what you mean. However, my wall comes down to the ground. The first level is a garage therefore the wall comes down to pavement. So I can't put the floor touch the side of the wall. Any ideas?

By the way. I've noticed that this is not light coming from behind the wall because I've seen this in other instances where the wall goes past the floor. So this must be some kind of light rendering from inside the room.

How bNasty described it is exactly the way it should be done.

Code:
pavement   wall    floor

                 ||

You can also cut the floor along the underside of the wall, which accomplishes the same thing I guess as what bnasty and caretaker are saying. (I think)

X==========

X is the floor portion that you cut (but don't delete, just cut).
