Nothing against Treyarch or anything, They have made some good games, but I never liked their Call of Duty games, and I know they are making the Xbox 360 version, if they are releasing it for PC, I am wondering how good it will play. Like Call of Duty 4? or Call of Duty 3.

time will tell... I like IW's style better though...

especially how they make prefabs with materials that dont exist... or how they randomly cut apart buildings after they've made them... or how they have 25 different ways to do something... (if you dont know what I'm talking about, open up some building prefabs, you'll have a blast)

Yup IW sure has some strange methods, but batistablr mate you really did not like United Offensive? I still think that had a great Single Player experience and an amazing Multiplayer mode.

I've never played or seen Big Red One before, but I've been doing my research on Treyarch today and WOW, that game looks pathetic, visible lighting issues, patch issues, alpha blending gone wrong, texture issues, model lighting.... and that was publicity screenshots!

So yeah I don't trust Treyacrh 100% to make a good job of it, but I do not care, if I play the demo and do not like it, then I won't buy it, so they miss out, not me.

Techono2sl, Treyarch made United Offensive? Really, if so, I might like this one.

Yes, they were known as GreyMatter Interactive... (they merged) I think.

They changed their name while making the game just to confuse people, I could not go as far as saying they made the entire United Offensive game as obvously IW did a good job with COD1, but if history repeates itself and Treyarch are using IW tools again for COD5 this could be another triumph. Heres hoping.

On CoD Topic, techno2sl, I have played those new maps, Chinatown is good, killhouse is just a bigger shipment, i hate it, and creek, I can't even start. That is an amazing map, great lighting, great buildings, great game play. What you think?

I will download it and get back to you! lol I really like COD4 SP, not to the extent that I can play through it a second time though... But Multiplayer is a bit of a downfall for me, it's too easy, I feel like I am a god or somthing with the amount of kills you can get in just a few minutes. If Chinatown is really good, then I will think about converting my Carentan.map file into it then release the source files.

its about time they did the pacific battles, i have been wanting that since cod1. They could do the whole game with the pacific, why do they keep bringing up the european battles, gets kinda old after the first 3 cod's.
