The fact is that you didn't discover this by yourself. It is already something known by many server admins, IW, PB and others releated sites.

The fact is that never any petitons didn't do anything for the Call of Duty series and any other games.

Tha fact is that having to make a donation to post for a petition is very weird.

The fact is that incredible all those whinings about the game everywhere. There is a support site and forums for that. Post your whines there. And don't think because you make a petiton it will change something.

The final fact is that if you don't like the game, nobody force you to buy it or play it.

What about making a petition to delete all whining posts/posters?

You obviously haven't dealt with IW before. Its not about signatures, its about getting it publically known so they are forced to fix it. I HAVE contacted them privately and I WAS ignored. These bugs exist, and they will let them exist unless they are forced to fix them, which will happen when enough people moan / use them.

Can someone bring me up to speed on what this is all about.. I missed the first post before the information was removed.

CoD4 exploits found - that need fixing, as IW ignored when contacted privately.
Perhaps google: 'Fix-Our-CoD4' and you may get some info

Woah, typed that in google and from a ton of pages the first one displayed a page exploits, had no idea there was so many..

The bad news is the more people who see this, (concidering its so easy to search for) the quicker cod4 is going to die.

The mods here don't want too much info (for some reason) so be careful what you post.
Its not the quicker CoD4 will die either, since when it is fully publically known - it WILL be fixed. Until then, somepeople know and others don't, as it is currently.
We need everybody to be on an even footing, and server admins to block some commands, until there is an official fix.

Hiding the details do not fix anything.

Ill agree its unacceptable to have those for mp, but before you made it knowledgeable to the world, not many people knew about them. I also find a lot of people seem to complain that others are hacking, when the other person is really good, they have lag, etc.

So in effect by trying to fix a problem, you just created a big problem . . . great thinking.

I also like to point out you seem to have a lot of copies of names on your petition, inflating the actual number, and a lot of anonymous people. Point of a petition is to have balls by putting your name down on paper. In all honesty I dont think IW will give a crap, they already got their money from ya. They dont have to fix a thing since you aren't paying to play.

I think the idea of this thread had good intention but overall, just a bag of hot air. If something changes it will be in future games made by the company. If they feel the game is still an investment, they may do something, but I believe it is past that already.

Guys... think about cheaters in general, what do they lack? They lack faith in themselves. Sadly, they have to cheat because they can't do it on their own. It's almost as if mommy still needs to hold their hand. There are a handful of kids out there who need to cheat to feel satisfied. The rest of the gaming community does it by pure skill. The game is not ruined by cheaters, because cheaters are easy to pluck from a server as long as you know what your looking for.

The funny thing is, most of us who saw those commands posted in the first post, or even on other sites, don't give two rips about them. I don't care about them. I don't care that they exist in your mind, but to me... they don't even exist. It's a joke...

If they want to cheat, let um!

most of the cheats listed there will get you on the PunksBusted list when you're caught on a PB screenshot.

I doubt IW will do much about this anyway.

Killersamuk, it's not about hiding the details, it's about not making stuff like that publicly known. IW is not a company who cares too much about this stuff being out there, so they're very unlikely to patch anything. Listing it will only ruin the game for alot of players instead of 'force' IW to do something about it.

Also, Rasta is a mod here himself, he knows what he can and can't post.
