Hi all,

I am a ex-mapper of BDT team and a mapper of TRM (www.theresistancemod.us.tt)

Now I map a map for myself and not for a mod. I try to combine all things what I learned about mapping. It's gonna be a kind of mountain with a path walking up the hill and a little mountain town. Maybe add a working skee-lift (1940-1945 style) Also it got a underground ...uhm... basement? ...that leads to a resistance hide-out.

Here is a screen (not an ingame screen, I think that I post a ingame screen tonight.)

Cool i like the idea, yeah why not have a basement with a tunnel to a resistance base, so the map it really high on a mountain or down low in the resistance place.

In the basement is a gap with a wooden wallchest before so u don't see the actual gap, although u can open it, when u push F the wallchest will wall down or something. Its a big mountain a village under and a ski-lift maybe or something above and further u can walk up the mountain around the mountain, trough the mountain. [tongue]

to be fair mate it looks too linear... make it more free roaming to accomidate the needs of other styles of gameplay and tactics (i.e riflers and close combat) and so that these two type of gameplays are intergated together (dawnville is a good example because it has the long street with houses sown the side of the road).

Im not putting your idea down tho, just have to modify it to meet our needs.... Gameplay comes first then the eye candy
