I always tell them to put cfgs in main. It cleans up the mod folder and looks tidier as it's along with the normal cfgs.

When I put all the cfgs (so the zom.cfg + the standard cfg files) in the mod folder it crashes also when I put pure to 0

If I remove all the CFG's (so the standard + zom.cfg), it gives me the error as well. Maybe something isn't being exec'd?

I don't think the error you're having is anything to do with cfg's.

Well I downloaded & replaced the .iwd and the .ff like 10 times but it still doesnt work. :/

If I change the name of the map where the mod is in and run with +set fs_game mods/(modname) it does run on pure, but then the mod doesn't work...

When I put pure to 0 it also gives me bullets when im zombie, maybe something is going wrong? Please help me, i rent a dedicated server and if it won't work I pay it all for nothing. :'(

Probably the problem is that it still doesn't select 'zom' as a gametype. When I connect to a server it says: 'Zombies v1.2', mod: 'zomdb1.2' or something like that. On my server it does: 'Free-for-all', mod: 'zomdb1.2'. And yes I already did 'g_gametype zom' but when I do that it says 'zom isnt a vaild gametyp' and then it picks the default gametype (deathmatch). edited on May. 28, 2008 09:11 am by DaveR

And btw, when I put the server on pure and delete the mod from my own computer, then connect, it just goes in the server and loads TDM, it seems not to load the mod and doesnt recognize the gametype 'zom' for some reason. Can ANYONE please tell me how to make it recognize 'zom'? I pay so much money for this server and I really want it to work. Anyone?
