ok I did everything in the tutorial, this time half of it worked [crazy]

when i created the ff i got this :

When I searched for the files in my cod4 map via windows search, it even didn't find them either! - Though it said in assman that it had bin converted!

-any ideas?

Is your map's name mp_stealthjob? If so then your compass files should be "compass_map_mp_stealthjob" not just "compass_map_stealthjob."

As illram said, your compass files should be "compass_map_mp_stealthjob" not just "compass_map_stealthjob." Does compass_map_mp_stealthjob exist? If so, check your zone file and make sure it's looking for that and not compass_map_stealthjob

Not sure if this will help as well but if you did not start with compass_map_mp_stealthjob when you first converted it in the asset manager then you will have to redo it all over again so you create the material file needed for the compiler.
